Export the text in a presentationSometimes you need to reformat your presentation as a Word document or restructure it for a printed brochure. How do you get just the text out of PowerPoint? If your text is in text placeholders, you can easily accomplish this. Choose File>Send To>Microsoft Office Word. In the dialog box, choose the Outline Only option and click OK. Word opens with your text. You can now reformat it in any way you want. Note that you cannot use this technique for text in text boxes. This text is treated like a graphic. Would you like to export even text in text boxes? See my tip, "Export all presentation text." back to main tips menu for more tips
