Photos.com Over 200,000 photos for a fixed fee per month or year. iStockphoto Over 900,000 images, most costing from $1 to $3, contributed by site members. Shutterstock Almost 900,000 photos for a fixed fee per month or year. Fotolia Over 900,000 photos for $1 to $3 each, depending on the image size. Indezine Photos collected from many excellent sources. Stock.xchng Photographers upload their photos to share. You'll find many high-quality, free photos, with more than 200,000 available. morgueFile Offers free image reference material for use in all creative pursuits. Flickr A site that lets people contribute their own images. Many are simply personal photos, but there's a large selection. ImageAfter contains free, untouched photos that you can use in your projects with or without editing. You can search by category or color. PicFindr searches several sites containing free photos and then lets you access them from those sites. Sound and music files FindSounds is a search engine that specializes in sounds The Freesound Project is a collection of sound effects. A1 Free Sound Effects has many free sounds and also sells CDs of sounds. Find the sound you want, right-click, and choose Save Link As, Save Target As, or a similar option (depending on your browser). GRSites' Absolute Sound Effects Archive has a large collection of sounds that you can download. PacDV has free sound effects in 10 categories. The fire truck in the Transporation category is excellent! MIDI & Music Technology Resources for Teachers lists many sites offering music that teachers can use The Utah Education Network Multimedia Resources for Educators and Students is a list of resources for images, sounds, music, video and more. Video files Teachers.tv offers many videos that you can watch and download. Video Placement Worldwide offers videos contributed by corporations and trade associations. The Utah Education Network Multimedia Resources fof Educators and Students has a list of videos available for educational use.
